Allied Works Architecture

Allied Work’s website designed by deepPlay stands the test of time. The UI is distinctive and highly usable. It speaks to the minimalist design philosphy of the studio. I’m glad to see it’s still up and running. For me, this site has always been an example of best practices in the use of flash for web design.

Brad Cloepfil founded Allied Works Architecture in ’94 in Portland, OR. Known for several sites across the Northwest, his work for the Wieden+Kennedy world HQ is one of his most memorable. His work for the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis is another notable structure. I had the pleasure of attending the museum’s grand opening when I was a senior designer at TOKY Branding+Design.

An inspirational site for an inspirational architecture firm.
